PlatformSynthetic monitoring
Know it is down before your customers do.
Test your websites, APIs and endpoints around the clock, get alerted after repeated failures, and catch expiring certificates weeks in advance — including systems inside your private network.
What is synthetic monitoring?
Synthetic monitoring tests your websites, APIs and endpoints on a schedule, whether or not anyone is using them. It tells you a site is down or slow at 3 a.m., that an API returns the wrong answer, or that a TLS certificate expires next week.
Televane runs HTTP, TCP, DNS and TLS checks every 1 to 60 minutes and alerts after repeated failures. Private locations run checks from inside your own network, so intranet pages and internal APIs are covered too.
Four kinds of checks
Every 1 to 60 minutes, with a run-now button.
- HTTP(S) — expected status codes and text in the response
- TCP — can the port be reached
- DNS — A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT and NS records with expected values
- TLS — certificate validity, with a warning days before expiry

Private locations
Monitor what the internet cannot reach.
- Turn any monitored server into a private location — it runs the checks assigned to it
- Test intranet pages, internal APIs and database ports
- Results kept for 30 days, with uptime and latency
